There are a total of four stages to this project.
The full process will take around 8 weeks to complete, but you will only need to get involved in the first stage, and then be available to hand out the sample cards, and at the end of the process; the orders. The remaining duration of the 8 weeks is where we will be working on your project, designing, printing, packing and organising your cards.
First Stage
Each child taking part designs a piece of artwork based on one of our themes. Usually a week is plenty of time to complete this part.
You send the artwork to us, along with a simple coding form.
Second Stage
We print a free sample card for each design we receive (one per entrant).
We send the completed cards back to you with the original artwork and a dated order form for parents to purchase further cards should they wish.
There’s also the opportunity for the school or nursery to purchase cards for either their own use or to sell on at seasonal events.
Third Stage
Parents place their orders via our website by the date specified on their order form, or by cheque if they prefer. Cheques should be made payable to ecoArtcards and handed into the school with a completed order form. All cheques should be posted to us on your 'order by' date.
Last Stage
We process and print all the orders, then package them up to return to the school. Once you receive the ordered cards, all you have to do is hand them out. We organise the cards into classes and include a list of all the orders, with a full sales breakdown.
We need to have received the artwork for any project you’re taking part in at least six weeks before your term ends to allow plenty of time for orders to be placed, collected and delivered.
For all projects you will need to Register using our online booking form, and inform us of how many pupils will be completing the project, and select a date your project will start and end. You will then receive a complimentary resource pack, containing all the information you need to run your project.
Commission
You will receive commission to the value of 10% of your total sales – the more sales, the more commission you will generate. (Excluding late orders)
Commission will be paid to you by cheque for our Christmas themed projects and by National Garden Gift Vouchers for our Blooming Britain themed projects unless otherwise arranged.
